Award season for movies is such nonsense. Case in point: Michael Fassbender was not nominated for a Best Actor Screen Actor’s Guild Award for Shame, but Jack Dawson* was for J. Edgar. Dumb. That said, happy that Christopher Plummer got a nomination for Beginners, he was the best thing about that movie.
Oh, plus, Gary Oldman in Tinker, Tailor? Come on!

By the way, was super meh about The Descendants. Some good bits, but I largely agree with Franco. Plus, the only time I’ve ever seen Clooney act was in Michael Clayton, a.k.a. one of my favorite films ever.
How’d I gain 8 lbs today? All I did was sleep and eat mashed potatoes.

My favorite is Gary Oldman’s creepy dummy. Bummer that in the slideshow, Brad Pitt says he’s channeling Kramer and Peter Lorre. Now I love Peter Lorre, but Pitt’s clearly styled after Eraserhead.
